JBL BD-100 vs Yamaha YHT-196

Hi everyone

I plan on buying a 5.1 home theatre system for my TV. Main use will be watching movies through my laptop by HDMI. My budget is around 20k. I have narrowed down 2 systems:

1. JBL BD100 - For around 17.5k
2. Yamaha YHT-196 - For around 22.5k

YHT-196 seems to be a pretty popular model, with a lot of good reviews out there. But personally, I would like to go for JBL as my laptop has JBL speakers and they are out of this world. But I couldn't find any reviews for BD100. Any help will be highly appreciated.

If someone could suggest other models (in the same price range), that would be great too. Onkyo 3500 is also very good, but a little out of my budget(31k).

For your JBL BD100 - probably not a good choice. Some reference here: http://www.hifivision.com/home-theater/38717-jbl-cinema-bd100.html already discussed by our FM's.
You may check for Yamaha 196, 296 and also look at onkyo 3300/3400 if you cannot go for onkyo 3500 because of your budget.
