KDLinks 720- Resync Issue

Recently purchased this 3D media player from Amazon. Installed an internal 3TB drive. Excellent format support and PQ. I have connected this to Yamaha AVR 375, which is connected to Acer 5370 projector through HDMI. Now to the problem- Everytime I play a file, the screen goes blank for a few seconds and shows the Acer logo. I think it is trying to set the correct resolution (it is set to Auto in KDLinks). No drops during the play, ff, rw etc. When I stop the play, again the same thing repeats. It is only a few seconds, though quite annoying. No other issues, handles all formats and file sizes well. I have tried to change the order of turning on devices (typically i do display first, AVR and then media player) and setting a constant resolution (1080p 60). Same behavior. Has anybody else faced a similar issue with their respective media players?
