LG TV ARC to Onkyo ARC

hi all,
i have a doubt hence the thread.
I have LG 5500 HDTV. The issue with this TV is that it does not play mkv with DTS. I have already booked Onkyo 3400 and will be using it with my HDTV.

the question
1. IF i try to play Mkv DTS file in TV, the TV throws an error unsupported AUdio.Note that the video is getting played.
if i have a HDMI from my TV ARC to my home theatre ARC, will the DTS sound reach the home theatre ?

yahoo, found the solution. I tried all with my tv setting and onkyo HTS 3400, the result was negative. I found the following link

I exactly followed the instructions and bulls eye , got the problem solved.
now i am able to play movie from my LG TV and pass the audio to the home theatre. Note that since my LG tV does not recognize of play DTS file, the movies the DTS audio will not reach my receiver.
