Hello omishra,

It appears from the links you've provided that all of the designs except the BHL phono appear to be rip-offs of commercial products. I've read a lot of user reviews that indicate counterfeit and/or poor quality components in kits similar to these off ebay. Why not consider designs/kits offered by acclaimed designers instead of these knock-offs? Here are a couple of places to look at:

Transcendent Sound Grounded Grid Preamp

GlassWare Line Stage & Headphone Amplifiers Kits and PCBs

GlassWare has a wide range of line stages including the famous Aikido variants for you to consider. You could also try contacting John Broskie, the designer, directly through email if you need help deciding on the right one. It would also help if you specify what amps would be paired with the pre and how much of gain you would need. Ofcourse, this is just me thinking out loud, as always...

You are correct. That is the input I am expecting here, like one given by you. I want to go near to original. It may take some time to gather stuff together. Thanks for your links.

BTW, what are the rest of the components in your system?

This system is installed into my bedroom which is my listening room too.

TT technics SL 1200MK2,
Maranz CD6003,
Pioneer AM/FM Tuner,
BLAUPUNKT Car tape player,
passive relay based 4-1 selector with 24 step ladder volume control,
phono preamp TCC 754

40+40W class AB DIY HEXFET power amp.
DIY BS speakers (currently wall mounted on 18mm glass shelf),
(Yet to be fitted) SoundFoundation speaker stands from HFV group buy.

I want to combine the items listed in bold letters

Cool, all the best for your builds. Try researching the different DIY builds in diyaudio.com and audiocircle forums for more information before you pull the trigger on anything...

I have that Chinese grounded grid rip-off thingie lying around. I removed the volume pot to use in the MyRef amp.

You can have it if you want.

PM me.

Hello,

My experience with analogmetric (analogmetric.com) when I made my TDA1541A DAC was very good. They have supplied what was promised
