Hi,
I have an old Samsung le46m86bd (release somewhere around 2007), I got it basically for free from a friend and since I had not TV, I took it. I tried hooking it up to a pair of random speakers I had connected to my PC, since I use mostly headphones. I tried both the analog audio out and also the optical out (with a optical to analog adapter), the audio from the TV is super quiet and when I turn off the internal speakers, the audio controls on the TV are disabled, so I can't increase the volume. The speakers work just fine on my computer and get very loud if needed, so I guess the problem is with the TV.
Does anyone have any idea why the output would be so quiet or what I could do to fix it?
Thank you for your replies,
Chos
