Well finally, I got stands for maggies made from a local loha-waala. The are just strips of iron bent at an angle, and two holes each to screw into the speakers.
I was thinking of adding spikes to these stands, and also build a new frame for the speaker - but hit by a buzzing, creaking sound in higher frequency of human voices. It sounds like a torn plastic sheet, a buzz - not sure how to describe, but it sounds really bad.
I found Lata's voice quite harsh on many speakers, and headphones too. All harshness gone. I don't know if it is good or bad. But I am sure if I get used to this sound, then I won't be able to listen to any other speaker
I am hoping with fingers crossed that this buzz/ torn plastic sound will go away after some warm up. Last time it happened, I blamed on my HK amp - but right now playing with my nad c375, which is in perfect brand new condition and I have heard with my other speakers. Hoping this is moisture/ dust/ lethargy gathered by the speakers as they were not playing. It will be a major heartbreak if these don't work.
