Marantz New Launch CR611 Has BlueTooth - Finally!

Hi,

I was looking for a new audio system to replace my old sony RV777 at home and in that context exploring three options:

1. Marantz CR610 (that would work with my existing sony speakers)
2. Bose Wave 3 (which is now running a promo with Bluetooth free)
3. The just launched Sony CMT SX7B

I was about to make a decision for the CR610 and had checked with a few folks selling it who were happily confirming to me that there is no problem even if it is 2 years old and its a great system etc. And that it was not a problem that it did not have Bluetooth etc. In fact, I was going to check its performance with existing working speakers from an old Sony RV777D...later this week.

And as fate would have it, heard about this new launch from Marantz today! :yahoo:

These people selling systems either have no clue about upcoming launches or even if they know, prefer not revealing it to potential buyers, so that they can exhaust their 'great' old stock at a premium price.

In a pinch, if one would prefer to retain their old source (with a digital out), the new Audioquest Beetle (with async Bluetooth) might help in similar situations.
