My Marantz PM30 is having some hum, from the right channel.., the hum changes not-in-an-uniform manner when I turn the volume up.. What could be the probs? Will it be the volume control? or the power outlet? Any help would be appreciated..

I just checked it again. the probs is with the volume control, its a pure analogue amp, Can I replace it with any other compatible part? or Even the volume control, is a marantz specific design?
