Marantz SR5005 decent match.

Hi all ,I have want to put in a 5.1 system & for that i have decided AVR Marantz SR5005. Now I'm looking for some advice on what speakers i should purchase for Marantz SR5005. My budget is < 1 lac.

I can see the Group deal for Wharfedale Diamond 9.5 Floorstanding 5.1 Home Theatre Speaker Package but i have not seen any good reviews for the same in this forum.

I have auditioned Marantz SR5005 with Boston Acoustics CS 23005.1 + Boston Acoustics A 250 Floorstanding at my friend place. I was satisfied with sound quality but as i live in a remote place i cannot have any audition before purchase and that's why i completely depend on this forum.

Diamond 9.5 have received good reviews on many sites, check cnet.com.
Its good value for the price. I was thiinking of the same sysytem for me.
How did you like the 5005 sound compared to your Harman?Was it fast and exciting or smooth and laid back?

SR5005 sound quality is far far better than my present setup HK AVR133. I use HK only for watching HD movies which gives a better sound and when I play any mp3 or even Flac files quality is horrible.
HK 133 was my first buy and I was not knowing anything about AVR at that time.
Last year I heard Denon 1912 , Marantz and made my mind for a upgrade.
But still confused about matching speakers for Marantz SR5005.

Go with the Wharfedale s... very good match with the SR5005 rcvr.... Imho go for the Deal on HFV... 9.5 package.
