My recent setup

Dear All,

My Current set up is as below.

Altec 601C with 3000E Crossover original imported from USA and fitted in Petit Onken powered by JE Labs 2A3/45 Integrated amplifier connected with Bryston DAC BDA-1 and source is from Asustor NAS audio separated from HDMI port thru SPDIF/Coaxial. The amplifier is very good for normal hearing and it reproduced the source beautifully. I could able to crank the volume level of Amplifier to an extent due to low gain and lost the juice at an point, however it could easily cover an 15 distance..

Also i tried with Lyrita DHT pre and used the JE Labs as Power amp and it improved the bass/become tighter and voice to next level and am able to crank the volume . But there is colouration.

Just an sample video for all your reference for viewing and the audio may not be much clear as original in video shot but still hearable to an extent to judge an system.

Yes, that was also sounding awesome. 414 mids are superb and difficult to beat by other 15" Altecs.

Had some HFV members visited day before yesterday to hear the system and hope they are happy with the performance. As of now there will be no change in the setup and would like to retain for a month before testing up with another Altec Setup.
