Need a matching Receiver to complete my setup

Polk has no issues with Onkyo, Denon & Yamaha.Pioneer can be a bit bright,but need to check.

Thinking about Denon AVR 1612 mostly... but pioneer,yamaha receivers are also good..

Denon will sound powerful with polk, Yamaha has very clean sound.So demo & decide.

ok if demo is not possible...try demoing your models if they are avilable in shop with different avr.......it will help you to decide...
but can take denon at a shot...

Look for Onkyo receiver. They will go really well with polks. I'd start with NR616 if you have budget 818.

Trust your eyes and ears. People say lot about Onkyo receivers and klipsch speakers, till now they are sold like hot cakes.

So,7.2 over a 5.1 receiver.. is it worth it ??

Yes you can bi-amp the surround back/high and I noticed most of the 5.1 receivers come with minimal power. So better go with a 7.2.

I don't think 1612 supports 3D.
