Need advice on 5.1 system

hello guys,

i just need a decent 5.1 surround system.
at present i have only DVD player and i have plans to buy WD TV live hub.
I do not want any AVR as budget constraints and i just want to connect my 5.1 speaker system to WD TV live hub directly.

Pls suggest me decent 5.1 system (preferably optical compatible) under budget of 15K INR.

The only two options I can think of right now are Logitech Z5500, for which people seem to have a love hate relationship, and the edifier s550 (without optical) and edifier s550d(with optical). the second edifier might be a little bit above your budget. where are you located?

maybe other member can pitch in with more suggestions.
