Need feedback on Advance Paris ownership experience

I am planning on buying the Advance Paris A12 classic. Would love to hear feedback from the group. Also, has anyone owned an Advance Paris product and if so, how's the ownership experience? I know they only have one service center in India, located in Mumbai. I live down south in Kerala, so really wondering how the available service, if needed, would work.

Advance Paris is Advance Acoustics. Not sure of their current range but their older range had lots of issues and design flaws.

Maybe they are good now but better let others beta test it before getting into it. Their products seem vfm but not sure of build quality.

Pretty much concur with ROC. From what I have heard so far about its older incarnation, Advance acoustics, the sound was quite nice for what you paid for them. Some people like the industrial design choices too. Looked like they were trying to imitate Macintosh in the looks department. Somehow they were not able to make inroads into the markets and now they have changed their brand name. There must some reason for that. Perhaps reliability ? Not sure. Do some research about that yourself.

I've just bought a Advance Paris X-CD9 CD player to replace my old Audiolab 6000CDT. Sound is excellent - certainly an upgrade. Lets see how the reliability is.....

Purchased the Advance Paris A12 amp from Hifimart . Was looking to replace my Marantz PM11S2 which went into protect mode two years back . Used Norge , Sonodyne and WIIM. All are good in their own way .. but was missing that huge soundstage which only floor standers , when driven by an amp which has this kind of power can generate .

Had shortlisted a few amps and narrowed down to Rega , Atoll , Vincent and Advance Paris . Looking at the prices and the kind of mark up compared to international prices ..had decided to just continue with Norge and WIIM . Then this sale came and pulled the trigger

Too early to say anything about SQ . But I have read that Tubes produce a warm and non fatiguing sound which is true in this case .

Paired it with Tannoy XT8F and Marantz CD 6005

How is Atoll in terms of Sound signature (forward and lively?) and did you buy it in Mumbai . How long have you been using it .
I had considered that , Made in France and reviews were positive , but the models available , optional digital board and shipping from Gurgaon was a negative .

As of now just heard it for 15 hours or so - Since my work from home ended . Its has that warm sound when paired with Tannoy XT8F which is a slightly bright speaker . Warm , Non-Fatiguing , and loads of power to drive speakers , can play loud . Midrange is good and so is Bass . Will have to use it more to come to some conclusion . If there is no change in this sound signature then too much warm is equal to dull sound . So hoping that it changes or I will have to go for a external DAC .
