Hi Guys,
I need some help deciding on a good Airplay Speaker. I know first thing to start with if I am looking out for a in my face kinda speakers with in my face kinda vocals and Guitars perhaps this is not the kind of speakers I should go for. I am fully aware about that. However I strongly feel the Airplay Speakers are a great value for the utility, overall package and the kind of portability that they offer for e.g all in one speakers no need for a spereate sub-woofer, satellite speakers etcSo I am aware that this speakers cannot take place of a regular 2.1 or a 5.1 speaker setup but still I am looking out for a Airplay speaker which are a good speaker in general, I am not a Audiophile but I do like my sound to be perfect, Bass being tight and punchy, clear vocals and guitars. I am not gonna use this speakers just for Music I am looking at this speakers for their overall performance which means I may even watch movies in this speakers, so I would want the dialogues, background music in movies to very crisp and clear. So keeping all this in mind between the Bower&Wilkins Zeppelin Air V/S Klipsch G17 V/S Altec Lansing inAir 5000 which one I should go for. To be very frank B&W Zeppelin Air is too steep for my budget and hence I am thinking about the Klipsch G17.
I am more inclined towards getting the Klipsch G17, will it be a right choice keeping in mind requirement. I do listen to a lot of Techno, House kinda music so having a very very powerful Bass is top in my criteria. Do you guys think I should get a Klipsch G17 if B&W Zeppelin is creating holes in my pocket
will it be a good choice (I mean equally Good Choice) I can manage to get it also at $400 do you think the Klipsch will perform equally well, if not better then the Zeppelin Air.
What do you guys suggest ?
