Need suggestions on buying front speakers and sub

Hi All,

I am new here and thanks to all I have learned a lot from your posts.

I need suggestions on buying front speakers and sub for my ht system.

I have just purchased a Onkyo TxNr636 and Onkyo SKS-4800 center and surround.

I am thinking about polk audio psw125 and jamo-s260 for sub.

Please let me know options for floor standing and other good subs if any.

Budget is moderate.

Also let me know which is the best place to buy ?

I can buy in bangalore or chennai whichever is cheaper.

Also I am travelling to Dubai next week if any brand is cheaper there please let me know.

Hi, congrats on the purchase. Could you please give the price and dealer details for the 636. I'm planning on purchasing the same model. Also, does it say "made in Malaysia" or "made in China" on it? Read that new models are being manufactures in Malaysia and are of better quality with heating issues fixed.

There are a variety of speakers available in the market and with the festive season around next week, there would be special offers and discounts available...based on the AVR output, decide the speakers and see which can perform across maximum frequencies between 20hz - 20khz......the key is to audition with your kind of music and make a sound decision which appeals to you in appearance, performance and budget...all the best....you could look at Pioneer AJ series, Jamo S426, Boston Acoustics, Dalis, Wharfedale etc. etc.
