Just completed a DIY... made a simple phono preamp for ceramic cartridge. I'll post the diagram and pics shortly.. Really it's sounding loud and amazing.

looks like a single channel design, is this for the fiesta?

Yes indeed. But it can be made for stereo output. It's for Phillips also. I've tried it in hmv, Phillips, sangeeta etc, it worked everywhere successfully.

I've had some success with ceramic phonostages myself, again, amazing sounding ones but a little more complex looking as its the stereo version.
