Hi guys,

I've just moved to India and I have to put together two medium budget sound systems.

I'm a major music lover rather than HT and for my bed room I have a NAD C352 amp and a pair of Monitor Audio RS6.

Meanwhile, for my living room, I'm thinking of getting the Audio Refinements Complete Amp and CD player (without remote control) but I need help choosing my speakers.

My budget is aprox. 45.000rs. but I've been looking at the following options and would love your views and reviews:

KEF Q500
WHARFEDALE DIAMOND 10.7
POLK AUDIO TSI 500
POLK AUDIO RTI A7

Please do send me some comments or other options I should be looking at.

I'm mostly going to be listening to rock, reggae, RnB and Hip Hop on this system and my other system is for the more mellow vocal tunes and classical music..

Thanks guys and looking forward to your views.

Hi

Why not see if you can audition these speakers? I am a firm believer in synergy between amp and speakers-and this can only be heard by auditioning.

rock,reggae rnb hip hop

for 45k youve pretty much covered most floorstanders that may suit your music( if those are what you want)

i would throw in a Jamo concert series at a slightly higher budget

you should ask jai if his KEF700 (i think) are still for sale
it would be a great deal
all you have to down is drive down to mumbai
