Hi guys,

I'm very noob here. Just had my Initial setup Yamaha -373 and Dali zensor 1 fronts.

After seeing so many DIY experts and their threads i developed the itching of DIY.

But am very new to the word Electronics itself.

Please guide me where i can start? What are the tools i need? If there is any small DIY projects to familiarize myself with Resister, capacitors ICs etc...

Can you guys train a complete noob?

I'm thinking to build SUB and Surrounds by DIY.

Welcome Leninselvaraj,

nothing wrong in being a Noob. All of us at some point were. and many of us still are, but seem like gurus, just like std 2 students look really senior to kindergarten students. (i am definitely one of those)

:)

DIY can be as simple or complicated as you wish to make it. my first question to you is - what do you wish to achieve here? - is this a one off project to build some stuff, which you will be happy with, or is this the first step towards understanding and stepping into the big bad world of DIY?

next question, what is the budget? is there some flexibility there. For Eg, you do not have centre channel, will you want to work on that first? would you be open to doing a front, centre, left and moving the zensors to surround?

questions, questions!

Thanks kapvin for kind and encouraging words.

Well before start to build any speakers i want to get familiar with electronic components.

So i didn't think of any budget yet. My AIM is building surround and SUB for my setup. For center am planning to go for zensor vokal as i have zensor fronts.

Let me take one step at a time. my first target learn electronics and get familiarize with the components. to do that you can help me with some small projects guidance.
