Guys, I am looking to rip Audio CDs to flac and am considering buying a USB optical disk drive to be used with my laptop.
I have a few related questions on it -
I want to ensure an error free exact rip as much as possible. Does the make of the drive contribute to it. That is are drives from LG, Asus, Sony, Transcend etc...all equal for CD ripping purposes ? Should I consider one over the other and on what basis ? I want to pick up something for under 2-2.5k.
Please suggest a few as well.
