What does -3db limits mean in speaker terminology

What does -3db limits mean in speaker terminology

This means that the speaker can produce the entire spectrum of 43Hz - 25KHz. Below 43Hz, it might dip by - 3 db.......

This means that the speaker can produce the entire spectrum of 43Hz - 25KHz. Below 43Hz, it might dip by - 3 db.......

and above 25khz
