Phlilips Bluray player for Rs.5,990/-

Saw a Philips Bluray player (don't recollect the model no.) at Vijay Sales under their clearance sale for Rs.5,990/-. The original price I think was Rs.8,990/-. Not sure if this is a good deal, you guys can check it out.

This should be available at at Vijay Sales outlets since they have the clearance sale going on. I was in Thane the other day & saw this there.

I have had troubles with philips dvd players some time back. Both dvdp lenses required to be replaced around 6 months. 1 got replaced during warranty almost FOC, but I had to pay for the other as warranty just expired.

I have never heard a bluray player sold for 6k in india.thats a great deal ,if u had mentioned the model number it would been more informative ,anyway thanks for the info buddy....

Haven't checked the deal but my best guess is Philips BDP3000.
