Pioneer LX 85 preamp or Yamaha 600d

I have a Pioneer LX 85.
I have decided to buy a separate power amp and use the preamp of the pioneer.
I can also get hold of Yamaha RX S600D which I am considering using instead of the pioneer. Would the difference be siginficant?
