I agree with you santhukp... really bad telecast by espn-star... atleast they could have tested their HD feed today... :)

oh come on guys, r u telling bangalore stadium is not good . while watching cricket you look for a good pitch with great cricket or green grass. Its bad that Eden missed the match, angry with those who are responsible for it  still thinking of when will our guys take it seriously about works with huge magnitude.

and I thought I am the only one really dispappointed with video quality.
I was about to jump on Tata Sky + HD bandwagon but after seeing Ind-Aus telecast, I dropped the plan :(

Don't go for the HD if your main aim is to watch the Cricket World cup.Our stadium are using 1960's Floodlights and this is not suitable for new generation live sports programings(HD- Programs).I think in India few stadiums are equipped with the new flood lights.(DY Patil stadium, Delhi CWG stadium-But this stadiums are not used for this world cup).

Last year's IPL matches in HD on SunDirect HD, were very good. Since the IPL was played in India, I don't think the floodlights are a major issue.

PS: The picture quality did vary atleast a little, from stadium to stadium. This could be due to the lighting or could be other reasons also.

world cup started now... I am not able to watch the matches. Can some one tell me about the Quality of the coverage.. pls only mention about SD broadcast...Is it matching with the Nine sports converage?
