Portable DAC under 10k

Schiit Modi/3 is not portable plus will need a seperate amp to accompany. However good budget DAC if trying to build a desktop setup.

The Xduoo XD05 + presently seems a very capable dac/amp outputting 1 watt of power and the basic version about 500 mw, if use case is to drive iems and headphones this is a good option. If only IEMs then Lotoo Paw S1, Earmen Sparrow ,Helm DB12 are some of the options which are cited to sound as good as midrange DAPs

thanks.. am looking for portable DAC"S ... Lotoo paw s1, shanling u2 and Tempotec e44 are my final list.. let me know anyone used these dac's and any feedback is appreciated

Tempotec & Hidisz are pretty much the same. I would avoid seeing the issues i faced in the S8.

after lot of reviews and research thought of go for HIDIZS S9 pro for 9k.. is there any others DAC"S in this price range ?

+1 for Lotoo Paw S1, you may need to go pre loved route though is budget is inflexible.
