Price for a good pair of stereo speakers

Hi guys, this is my first post in the forum apart from my introduction. My father and I are both audio enthusiasts. We buy and listen to a lot of stuff and occasionally sell them too. Recently, was offered a used ATC SCM 20 speaker in immaculate condition, passive special edition. What would be the right price to pick them up?

please think about partnering amp and source as well.

How large is your room ?

Does the amp have enough power ( and current ) to drive the ATC ?

whats your overall spend budget like ?

Yes sir, I have a pair of Audiolab 8200mb monoblocks paired with an audiolab 8200cdq cg player cum preamp, pushing out 250 wpc at 8 ohms and 500 watts at 4 ohms. My listening space is about 20 x 20 feet.
Currently using them with dynaudio audience 72 speakers. Would like to upgrade to a better speaker. Listened to the ATCs at an expo sometime back.Was impressed by the soundstage and detailing.A guy I know has a pair and he asked me to offer a price. So I want to know a tentative price for them.

Best thing to do is to try the speakers at your home and close the deal immediately if they suit you

I listened to ATC SCM 7. Studio monitors are not to my liking. Detailed and bassy which has the ability to create a huge sound stage. Listen the speakers before you buy the brand name.
