Dear HFVians,
please let me know who are the dealers at chennai with best deals on projectors...i am looking for basic 16:9 720P or WXGA projector for home cinema purpose @ around 40K and odd.

in budget of around 50K all inclusive you can get Viewsonic Projector PJD 6531W
WXGA / HDMI / 3300 Lumens / 3000 : 1 Contrast / 3D ready. Good buy at this price.

Or go for Epson X 11 - 2,600 lumens / 2000 : 1 contrast / HDMI but not good for videos

thanks for ur prompt reply ...
will u suggest me to look for led based low lumens models like dell-m110 etc also for occasional home cinema viewing purpose? cause they are cheaper and with bulb life much longer and no heating issue etc (without ac it can run)
kindly also let me know the models with short throw lens as i stay in office quarters and don't have luxury of dedicated and big room for cinema.

will wxga be ok for 16:9 application and 720p files or i have to look for 720p models only?? for me short throw, bulb life and lower price point are priority. i am ok with performance suiting to just common man's eye with wall projection of around 150/200 inch in home..
