I have two of these, both power up; one shows a green light, one red. Is the red light normal or does it indicate a problem? I have no source to play through them to test otherwise as yet - I am trying to assemble a system. Any help appreciated.

Red light indicates its in stand by mode??? I dunno but thats what it could be but best you could do is hook it up to a pre & speakers to see if its functioning.
Why not check with the person from whom you got the quads or the ones who serviced them?
Whats the purpose of having 2? use them as mono blocks?
I thought you had the TD160 ready to be used a source. Dont you have any CD/DVD/BD player with you to hook it up & test the same?
