This is my first post.
I live in Chennai. I have Mahindra HUPS - 800 VA. I bought this last year and working fine. After I installed ups, i got some sound from tv stabilizer so i removed stabilizer and used tv.
Recently I purchased samsung 32` tv.
As usual chennai electricity board has started voltage fluctuation ranging from 155V - 180V during 9 pm to 12 pm.
Because of this I am not using tv since i cant install stabiliser.
So I have called Mahindra support centre and asked about sound from stabiliser. They told to change inverter mode to ups mode so power fluctuation wont come.
After changing i noticed that whenever there is voltage drop below 175V ups mode turns on and voltage output is 220V. So it is changing suddenly to 220V in fraction of seconds.
Now I plan to buy V-Gaurd Mini crystal plus stabiliser and put it directly from mains.
Please advice.
