rca interconnect or coax for stereo

any views on this as to whether there is any difference in performance when connecting between a cd player and an amplifier/receiver?
 
The answer to this question depends on the system you are having. If your DAC in cd player is superior than the amp/receiver than you might want to connect via analog rca and if that is superior in your amp/receiver than you should connect it through coax to use the receiver's DAC.
