Rega Naia or P10?

Which Vandersteen's did you have, and how do the 10's compare to the Vandy's.
I had two - the Model 3A and VLR. The first was expansive and fluid; the second was an overachiever in almost all respects. The MoFi are very organic but accurate.

Nice ! Did you land up listening and comparing to anything else in the price range ?
I heard the Technics 12000-G and Clearaudio Ovation. I was offered a Luxman 151 to audition, but I'd made up my mind by then.

congratulations !

audition and buy is the best way to go and this thread is a clear example of that
I heard the ARC amplifier hooked up to a pair of Estelon XB Mark II Reference speakers - it was a truly special listening session, but I was $64,000 short, unfortunately.

My cousin in the US has moved up the Vandy chain starting with the 2A's and now has the 7's which he's planning to upgrade to the XTRM. I have a soft spot for the 2A's which just produced effortless music that one could listen to for hours on end.

I have heard the 2CE and the TREO CT in the past and they are pure music makers. Speakers just disappear leaving the band in the room. One of the earliest and consistent purveyors of time- and phase-coherent sound.
