Many moons ago one of my "langotya " yaars gifted me a cassette tape - this was those days - the days of the Chromium cassette and Tom Cruise on Top Gun.

For many days i was searching for that music ( and the cassette is long gone ) and 2 days ago i found what i was looking for.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPd9be8R5bA

This music makes my mornings - before i go to work and i find a sense of calm.

Needless to say the CD will be mine - god willing.

This youtube link is for you to explore and hopefully discover more.

May the sacred spirits bless us all !

regards

Thanks. Sounds good even on YT.

Exposure limited to Enigma, Deep Forest, Vangelis, and Era. This is in the same vein, but yet different.

Lovely ! Thanks. What's the name of the CD from where it is taken ?

Humans have desecrated this planet . I think some music reminds us of that !
All of it was amazingly beautiful once.......now only in parts ......the parts we didn't go to !

Just checked the links on Youtube. A lot of very nice albums !!

It's from the album " Sacred Spirit - Yeha-Noha"..
I have this album.. It's really awesome...
This is the review of the album:
"The album was nominated for best New Age album Grammy award. The music conveys the stories, legends and plight of the Native Americans by combining sampled chants of the Navajo, Pueblo and Sioux tribes with synthesizer backings, all driven forth by a combination of traditional drumming and electronic dance-beats. The first single released off the album was "Yeha-Noha" (Wishes of happiness and prosperity) which was largely responsible for catapulting Sacred Spirit into the limelight. The single reached #1 position in number of countries, including 6 weeks at #1 in France. In the USA, "Yeha Noha" sung by Navajo elder Kee Chee Jake of Chinle, Arizona reached top 20 in Billboard Hot 100. The album is arguably one of the most successful enigmatic projects ever, garnering sales of more than 7 million albums worldwide."

I like these chants. Didn't understand a word though. Perhaps encountered these kind of chants in movies like Australia and Apocalypto.

But my all time favorite morning listening is Craig Pruess' Sacred chants of Buddha. Can test any system to its potential especially bass.

Thanks for introducing me to this. Loved it.

Listed in amazon.in for over 3K !

On Amazon.com it's mp3 download is listed for very much less (under $5/-). CD is $24 if I' remember right.

On Youtube you can get a MP4 version for free ! In fact it leads to a whole list of Native American albums which you can download. Wonder how long they will be there. Some uploaded albums do disappear sometimes.

But I think I'll buy the CD when I go out again. I like it .
