Series Link problem in Tata Sky Plus SD. Even repeat telecast getting recorded...

I have TS+ SD since last more than a year. Recently I am facing a problem in recording series linked episodes. When I series link Taarak Mehta ka..... on SAB TV, which is aired at 8.30 pm Mon to Fri. Now the real problem is, all the episodes of the serial (by all i mean all repeat telecast also get recorded & PLAN menu completely gets messed up. Have to delete all of them manually. I am not able to understand the reason behind the same. Also, one thing to be noted is this happens only with Taarak Mehta... Papad Pol & Balika Wadhu are also set for recording in series link & they get recording properly. As usual, CC guys dont even understand the problem. I have tried formatting the disk, factory reseting the device & all.

Has any one faced similar problem??? Any solution???

Also, if no one is aware of the problem, request TS+ (SD as well as HD) users to try recording & series linking Tarak Mehta on 113 channel at 8.30 pm & let me know. If this issue is with TS programming, then will send mail to higher authorities.

There are several technical problems of late:
1. Series link broken - programmes not recorded
2. Banners stay frozen
3. Volume indicators frozen

The only temporary solution seems to power off and on the STB sometimes the problem repeats in a few hours.

Tata sky even refuses to answer queries sent via their " Contact us" dialogue box on their web site.

I really do wish we had a competernt lawyer among us, who could file some sort of class action case againt TS, perhaps that is one way to shake them up, as they do not even bother to respond to complaints. Even their billing is not transparent.
Sadly the TATA brand and good -will seems to going down the drain.

I am also facing similar problems like volume and banner sometimes getting frozen. I haven't tested series recording so not sure about that. Other than that there are couple of other issues

1. SD picture quality is way behind than local cablewallah
2. Sometimes sound drops in NatGeo HD

If we collectively take any action , I am ready to participate in that..

Yes, I also faced the same problem with Balika Vadhu and Muktibandhan begining this week. Manually deleted repeat recordings.
Not sure it has been rectified or not.
