Setup up/down converter suggestions

I'm planning to buy a Onkyo SR-608 from Global Ebay.

I'd like to know what step up/down convertor needed to use this in India. Did anyone bought from Global Ebay. Can the AVR imported from US have any zone settings, any unknown issues.
