I'm looking for something smallish and not too expensive. They will be driven by a 100wpc power amp. The Energy Take is one option. Suggestions welcome.
Thanks

Jamo 400 series surround ones with tweeter placed below mid driver. I use them with Onkyo TX SR608 and am happy.

I've got a Jamo e7 center+bookshelf pair up for sale on the forum. If you don't already have a center you can probably consider them as
they're EISA winners and a couple of notches better than the c403 bookshelves recommended here. They're tiny powerhouses with aluminium
facades.

Only thing is I fear shipping in India. Have them up for sale here

I am looking only for the rear surrounds-I already have excellent L-R and Centre speakers and don't plan to change those.

Use a full range driver and cram it into a sealed box.
second option. use a smaller 4.5" Peerless driver and tweeter make a sealed 2 way bookshelf.
Since a sealed box will be small you've got the small size you want. as well as cost effective

my 2 cents :ohyeah:

I Have a pair of JBL Rears Model No unknown has sinle 3 to 4 inch driver. Can sell for Rs 2500 plus shipping

What about Bose 301 or 201 ?

(Runs for cover):o

I guess these should be good for surrounds.. 10-12k is sufficient for Surrounds and I think 201 should suffice your requirement.. Although Bose s not good for stereo , 201 s can work effectively for surrounds owing to their Direct-Reflective Technology.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
