Sony / LG/ Samsung and Chinese brands?

Hi,

Why TV brands like Samsung, LG, Sony are costly as compared to Chinese TV brands like Hisense, TCL. Xiaomi so on ?

Model to model their specs are same but TVs of Chinese companies are in expensive.

Do Chinese use inferior quality material ? OR Koreans demand too much for brand name sake?

High-end Sony/Samsung/LG (big3) TVs are definitely premium quality. You won't get QD-OLEDs or top tier WOLEDs from Hisense/TCL. They also have superior processing,

Low to mid-range Sony/Samsung/LG (big3) are simply not worth the money. They ride on the good reviews of their flagship and provide trash tier image quality. Examples being Sony below their X90 series, Samsung below their QN85, LG non-OLEDs.

Hisense/TCL can be good if you want their top tier TVs and usually play 1080p and above content. Their processing isn't on par with the big3. Xiaomi is pure trash, best avoided.
