Speaker Cable price

Hey,
I recently got a quote of Rs150/metre (might get some discount) for Acoustic Research Pro II 16 guage speaker cable and Rs53/metre for DAC 16 gauge wire.
Are these reasonable? Also, is AR so much better than DAC?

Anything better than QED...???

Classic 42 Strands - Rs.90 per mtr.
Classic 79 Strands - Rs.150 per mtr.

Micro - Rs.125 per mtr.

Original - Rs.110 per mtr.. approx..

I am using Supra classic 4.0 (11awg) around Rs.400/m & are very clean ,neutral.
2.5 around Rs.300/m (15awg)

I got total 7mtr for 3k.

7 mts is not bad at all. Did you use it only for centre, sub and fronts? Hard to imagine it would be enough for surrounds. Where did you buy them from?
