Hi All,

I was decided on SVS-PB12-NSD Subwoofer earlier, but it is out of stock and now they are saying that shipment will start in end of 3rd quarter. (earlier it was end of 2nd quarter).

I am thinking of ordering HSU research VTF-3-MK3 thorugh shopyourworld.com
Firstly I need your feedback on this, I considered ED A3-300 but it doesn't work on 240V and I need to get a step down transformer also.
HSU VTF3 got a switch to change the voltage to 240V. It also got variable tuner option where I can choose between Low bass or high output.

Secondly I need your feedback on shopyourworld.com, purchase/shipping etc

Landing price is coming to around 48.5k including shipping, insurance, duties etc.
I can pay by credit card and don't have to pay anything on delivery.

In case I am missing some thing or the risks I need to be aware of, please let me know

First time I am ordering something like this from US.

I would like to get some feedback from experienced persons.

Thanks in advance

If I'm not wrong, both the brands are available in India from Audire, Coimbatore. IMHO, it would not be worth the while to risk a russian roulette of having a sub shipped from the US...

wow thanks for the info.for months i have been worried on how to ship an SVS sub(svs ported subs are the best i have heard) to my family,as its heavy and comes in a huge packaging. Now im glad there is a dealer in coimbatore, which is not very far from my home town.

you had mentioned you use a power conditioner.which one is it? and is it possible to connect all the AV equipments and the projector to a single conditioner?

Its 1kVA CVT of Bhurji Electroniks make (its old one, but works fine). It is dedicated for Subwoofer. I suggest connecting Projector to a UPS as it requires power to cool the lamp when we switch off.

It is possible to connect all AV equipment to a power conditioner if it has got sufficient rating to take all the load.
