Suggest a DAC : Budget 5-8k

I am setting up a home stereo setup. I need advice on a DAC. I need a DAC which accepts digital inputs such as Coaxial and Optical, since my media player can output only those and not USB. My budget is between 5-8k.

On a different note, shouldn't there be a dedicated sub section for DACs ?

You can checkout in amazon for Nuforce and HRT DAC's which are very good in your price range.

I am using HRT music streamer bought for 150$ and its performance is very good.

HRT streamer has only USB input.You can search for "HRT Music Streamer II" to get the information about the device.

If you have a PC then an Asus Xonar gives you the best bang for buck at that budget.

Have not heard anything else at that budget... sorry.

Guys, I am not interested in USB DACs. Please suggest DACs that can accept either coax or optical, if possible in my budget.
