I'm planning to get a new TV from Dubai during the Dubai Shopping Festival which will start from the month of Jan.
My budget is 30k INR (including customs if possible).
Viewing distance is approx. 6-8 feet. I was looking for a 32"/40" TV. I am not specifically looking for Internet TV options, but mainly concerned with the picture quality and the quality of the inbuilt speakers as I'm not ready to invest in a set of speakers as of now.
Will be mainly watching TV from the DTH and through USB. While searching the forums I cam across that Sony doesn't support mkv formats, and as my parents aren't too tech-savvy, modifications and all won't be possible to make it play.
Would be grateful if you could suggest a few models, as I'm in India and will be asking my sister(who isn't tech-literate(?) either!) to get me one. So I need specific models I could ask her to check out.

Lastly I heard Samsung gives international warranties on its TV's. Is it on all models or is there a premium that one has to pay. Because getting a warranty is definitely a plus!
