Suggestion needed for purchasing lower-middle seg spk pair

Hi Everyone,

Planning to get a new pair of speaker. My options are limited to Delhi and cant take the hassle to fly down to a different city and experience some others:sad:.

So far I have auditioned and liked the following speakers best (though they are sonically completely different):

• 
  Dali Helicon - 300MK2 (DALI HELICON 300 MK2)

• 
  Ascendo C5/C7 (Ascendo High End Audio)

• 
  Tannoy Starling SE/Glenair 10 (Tannoy - Residential - Summary)

Its very tough call on my end!! In terms of my preference, I like little juicy presentation and not very dry or cold!!

Amp and source? Ill build around my speakers. So flexible!!

Can you please provide your valuable opinion about them? Thanks a ton in advance.....

The new bass and treble showroom in ghitorni is quite easily accessible.

Why not extend the budget a bit and get the Tannoy Turnberry SE. I truly value Abhi (Dr Bass)'s opinion and if he says its close to as good as it gets, I'm sure it must be up there somewhere with the very best.

I've never heard the ascendo but have heard the Dali Helicon. I found it a bit fatiguing over a 2 hour listen. While it was nowhere as bad as the Ikon 6, it was still not something I would be willing to live on a long term basis.

ehehe ... me too thought the same!
But the speaker choices gave a shock ... always thought at least two of the named to be hi-end. . Learning now, they aren't.
