suggestions for a carpentar in Bangalore

hello everybody ,
I am looking for suggestions for a carpenter who could build speaker cabinets for me in Bangalore.

I have got mark alpair 10.2 .
This week I received my speaker driver
Madisound Speaker Store

I am planning to go for this speaker design as in ( for mark alpair 10.2)

Other carpenters that I have spoken to does not guarantee precision cuts and fits for speakers, while some of the have charges which goes beyond what I'm willing to pay - they ask somewhere between 800 to Rs.1200 for cubic feet of work( in my words for cutting and pasting ).

I had a chat with my friend, who is a amateur carpenter, and he is willing to take up a few projects. In his case, if the plans are clear, you may not have to do any supervision.

Try Vinod Kumar (+91-9741497048). He is located in Kurubarahalli (Near Sathyanarayan Chowltry), Bangalore. He is good, economical and makes speaker cabinets exclusively sold to whole-sellers in South India- from the past 20 years. He will be more than happy to work on your design as he is very accommodating. I had gotten my speaker cabinets done by him more than 6 years ago.

hi all, just wanted to provide an update on the speaker box work. i did approach carpenter Babu for the bookshelf speaker build. he did reach my home promptly and listened to my requirements [there is a proper build spec sheet available online which i handed him]. but finish on the box was far from good[it was built at his location] and he missed out on certain obvious design updates which he was aware and importantly measurements for box depth is off by 1 inch. i feel shortchanged for the amount paid [almost paid as per his demand] and resources invested.


TLDR: box build quality and specifications are not according what was given. i had to put up this post because he has gone incommunicado after the delivery [this is after i paid him in full - even after knowing the shortcomings]
