Today i went to Reliance Digital in Anna nagar, Chennai to demo Jamo S 426 5.1 package.
By the time , i reached there , they were watching thupaki (tamil) movie trailer in Sony Mu ke ti 5.2 , it was so loud but not crisp.
I told the sales person to connect Jamo package and he put Fantastic 4 movie trailer . Later i gave my Expendables blu ray which he played in Sony BDP 290 using Onkyo AVR.
I asked him to open the speaker cover to feel the movement of FS driver and told him to switch off the SUB(Jamo sub). This is my review for each category
Center : It was so bright and crisp.. The sound was clear for a small center channel.
FS: The sound is kinda ok and its giving little bass but you cant live without adding a sub .
Surround : It was ok but i feel my Onkyo rear will sound better than this.
My personal ratings on the demo:
Sales man : 8.5/10
Design : 7/10
Look :6/10
Sound :

Later , he added the Jamo sub then only i felt the world is moving in the right direction. Then i asked him to play some soundtracks to feel the stereo effect. It was good but not better. As a whole, if you want a decent budget 5.1 , you can go for it. The final price is 21.8K INR :clapping:
PS : Am crazy about FS , and that's the main reason i looked this Jamo package.:yahoo:
