Any recommendations on voltage regulators for the home theatre systems.

Is a transformer a good option to connect the receiver, sub and player? Also I heard that 50 hz causes some issues so do we need a step down transformer and a power conditioner for the frequency?

Any pointers in Bangalore who can sell these?

Get Voltage stabilizer if there is lot of voltage fluctuation otherwise don't waste money on it. 50Hz frequency is a standard for all the devices that are legally imported in India. So frequency should not be a problem and it is very complicated as well as expensive solution to control the frequency for a domestic application. Instead invest in a good surge suppressor which will protect your AV equipment against power surges. One such device is offered by Belkin with 6-8 sockets.

Is your equipment imported from USA and rated for 110 volts @ 60 HZ?

There are Power conditioners specially designed for AV. Rack mountable
8 outlet sockets, 2 isolated banks for audio and video. 4 switched outputs, 3 with a delay start, One always On for set top box. Two coaxial inputs for surge suppression on the antennae cable, One RJ45 ethernet cable. Voltage stabilisation between 165 volt to 265 volt AC 3 stages of EMI and RF supression.

Do you believe power conditioners can clean up raw power and bring out the best from your audio and video equipment?

yes,One RJ45 ethernet cable. Voltage stabilisation between 165 volt to 265 volt AC 3 stages of EMI and RF supression. thanks
