Use external DAC for Spotify in MACBook Air

Possible? Is that your question? Then Definitely YES! What DAC are you looking at?

BTW - most MACs come with a capable enough internal DAC, so you might not need it at all. I did use my DAC with an ancient mac mini for a short while till the mini died, however, I frankly do not think it did much, it did some but not much.

Yes. Just use USB from Mac to the DAC.

I don’t much use Spotify, but I play tidal via Audirvana.
