Using ASUS Xonar DG Audio card to connect with my PC

Iam using ASUS Xonar DG Audio card to connect with my PC and Marantz SR5200 Receiver using a Optical cable(Belkin) but i suspect i am missing some adjustments. Only if i keep at -30db able to hear a decent sound. But can't hear a better audio even if i keep at -42db. Kindly help me to understand.

Finally managed to increase the speaker volume using On screen Display(OSD) feature in Marantz Receiver. Now hearing a better sound at -44DB. Thanks to my friend Elango AS who helped me and he is also a FM for a quiet long time.
