Using old speakers

Hello !
I have a Philips SP 060R 5.1 system (60 W RMS). Unfortunately the powered component (sub-woofer) doesn't work any more and couldn't be repaired by the Philips service center or a local shop because of unavailable parts. How can I use the other 5 good speakers ? Which system/amp would be the right one to connect these speakers to ?

You can check out some norge or onkyo entry level 5.1 channel avr. You can connect the remaining speaker without a sub also to the avr. The only drawback will be the missing bass.
Also you can connect any powered sub to an avr, it does not have to be a philips. Just listen to the sound and go by your ear when you get a sub later on.
