Can anyone guide me on what is the ideal height at which the speakers in a 7.1 setup will be placed? I was wondering if placing them at ear (sitting) height is not possible then would placing them at standing ear height degrade the audio experience?
This is because at sitting ear height I have either no-wall on one side of my living room or walls with windows and hence instead of making them stand on the floor, mounting them at higher height would be easier.
