Vintage Horns? You ain't seen nothing yet!

The 27-foot long exponential horn, from 1929, recreated by London's Science Museum.

Some may start dreaming about building a new house, and doing this in stereo, even :eek: --- more realistically, anyone with London on their travel itinerary really should drop in to the Science Museum (set aside a whole day, it's wondrous and huge) and see/hear this. I should be there sometime in 2015.

Sit? They could stand inside the mouth: it is over seven feet! :lol:

One of the links has a pic of several guys standing inside one of the sections which they have been working on.
