Wave Bending Speaker Technology

Just intrigued with the Bending Wave technology introduced by Podium Audio(Katz) 2007(?) and Gobel high end in 2011.
The Munich high End 2014 Winner as per AV Showroom was the Gobel High End Epoque series due to the unmatched spaciousness of sound achieved by Diffuse field Bending Wave technology.

I have heard both;

Goebel High End
Between the 2 I love B & I did not care much for A.
Only issue with B is the cost - it is just prohibitive.
Excellent Build - Fit & Finish is super but the price too is 100K Euro ++
If price was not a consideration - the Goebel would be my speaker of choice.

I am going to Munich Hi-end 2015 to hear the Goebel Epoque Reference.

I am considering the possibility of making a bending wave speaker with a couple of Fountek drivers. So need as much information possible.

What do you have to share ? I know the Katz is super-hyped by the owner.
