Why do the same names keep cropping up on What HiFi?
Roksan Candy,Cyrus,Naim,Chord,ATC,Proac.
They are all good brands.
But it's a big wide world out there.How do they,or for that matter anyone,come to the conclusion that these are truly the best.

They review and the awards are given to the best [in their opinion] of what they have reviewed - not the best out there. And they are more UK brand centric which is understandable - them being a UK mag. after all.

IF you have noticed, Yamaha has made it into their list with an entry level stereo amp. Not something usually seen.

Yes,the awards do seem to be U.K.centric.And yes,the Yamaha inclusion is a bit of a surprise.

Sony's there as well with the BDP-S370 as well as a few LCD TVs.
